Nearly 50 years ago, that is in 1964, Smokey Robinson and Ronald White, the members from Miracles, wrote a song which would become a miracle of the history. The song they song they wrote “My Girl” became one of the most iconic song of the era and even now it is really well known to everyone. However, this song is mostly associated with The Temptations as they originally recorded and released this song.
As the story goes, the members of The Temptations heard Smokey and Ronald working on this song. They liked the song so much that they begged Ronald to let them record and release it. Smokey and Ronald agreed, and the song became the trademark for The Temptations. The song was placed on Billboard’s Top 100 songs in history and has been featured in numerous movies.
