Does anyone of you find the old songs incredibly soothing? I mean I can lie on my bed and listen to the vintage songs for hours. You will soon find out what I am trying to say after listening to this old classic from the Platters. It was the number one hit in 1958, and it sounds amazing, to say the least!
This video features the classic, “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.” Many artists have covered this song from Earth Kitt to Frank Sinatra. But the Platters’ version of this song is the one everybody remembers. It was first written by Otto Harbach and Jerome Kern. This Platters’ rendition has also gone on to top the charts in the UK, USA, and Australia.
