As most of us probably know, “Hallelujah” is one of the most popular Christian hymns all over the world. It was originally recorded by Leonard Cohen for his album Various Positions in 1984. This song achieved little initial success, however, the song found greater popularity acclaim through a cover by John Cale. Now there are probably only few artists in the world who haven’t yet tried their hands on covering this song. This video also features one of this song’s rendition and it is unlike anything I’ve ever heard!
Jordan Smith, top 10 contestant of The Voice USA 2015 decided to sing a cover of this song “Hallelujah” last Monday night. He is one of the deserving candidate in this competition and he proved it right on this performance. You’ll be spellbound by this rendition.
