When rescuers from Charleston Animal Society (CAS) found Caitlyn the Staffie-mix, she was in a devastating condition. Apparently, someone had stitched her muzzle up with electric tape which made it difficult for her to eat, drink and even breathe. Her rescue video went viral all over the internet and she even made the national news. Throughout the treatment, even though she was suffering a lot, Caitlyn fought all odds and survived.
Now, Caitlyn is an ambassador against animal cruelty everywhere. Her journey from a victim to ambassador against animal cruelty is inspiring. So for her resilience and struggle throughout her life, her rescuers decided to give her the “Best Day” of her life.
