When tiny Neapolitan Mastiff named Willow was born, she suffered from a condition called the Swimmer’s Syndrome. She couldn’t use her limbs and was not even able to move. Her siblings were sold out by her breeder but no one wanted ‘damaged’ Willow. As the medical treatment for Willow was expensive, breeders decided to throw her out but not before publishing a post on their social media.
Fortunately, before time ran out, the Second Chance Rescue in California found out about Willow and decided to take her in. As immediately as they got Willow out, they bound her chest to stop it from getting flatter. Only after that her real treatment for her syndrome began. Within weeks of the treatment, Willow’s spine started to heal, and days later Willow started to walk, run and even swim.
