In 1967, The Bee Gees Performed One Of Their Early Hits. When I Hear It Now? WOW!

The Bee Gees were quite popular back in 1970s for their pop and disco songs. However, their history doesn’t start from there. They started their band in 1958. Barry Gibb along with the twins, Robin and Maurice got together to form their own band. At the very beginning of their formation, they started off with soulful ballad songs.

“To Love Somebody” is one of their most popular ballad songs and it was written by Barry and Robin in early 1967. It was actually written for Otis Redding’s upcoming album. However, unfortunately, Otis passed away in a tragic plane accident. As Otis hadn’t recorded any demo versions before his death, this song was about to be lost. But Bee Gees took this song and recorded it for themselves.
