We all have experienced monsoon storm in our life. Sometimes it is quite dreadful, but it is magical nonetheless. However, watching storm clouds and witnessing the process from the distance is something else. Brain Snyder, a photographer wanted to capture the miracle of monsoon in his camera so he set it up in a nearby mountainside in Tuscon, Arizona. However, he captured more than he ever expected to.
What Brian captured in his camera is called “wet microburst” or “rain bomb”. It is a unique storm which affects an area of no more than two and a half miles and can generate winds of over 150 mph. This phenomenon occurs when a cooled column of air sinks rapidly through the middle of a thunder storm.
