They Were Inside An Empty Church. But When They Started Performing “Silent Nights?” WOW!

“Silent Night” is among the most famous Christmas carols of all time. In 1818, it was composed by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Father Joseph Mohr and was declared as an intangible cultural heritage in 2011 by UNESCO. St Nicholas first performed this song in 1818 on Christmas Eve. Since then, we have seen many artists give their version of this song.

This video shows a remarkable cover of “Silent Nights.” Placido Domingo joins a student choir and the Piano Guys to make his rendition phenomenal. Placido is perhaps among the most versatile singers out there; he has recorded more than 100 complete operas and won over 14 Grammy Awards. Most of his recordings have hit gold and multi-platinum.
