He Starts Singing “Mary Did You Know”. But It Was Who Joined Him Next That Left Me Screaming!

This video below features an incredible rendition of “Mary, Did You Know?” by Peter Hollens, one of the most renowned A Cappella singer in YouTube. This Christmas song was originally written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene and was recorded by Christian artist, Michael English on his solo debut album in 1991. After several recordings of this song, this song was most popular when Michael himself recorded it in collaboration with Gaither Vocal Band on their 1998 Christmas album.

For Peter Hollens music is everything. He got involved in a cappella music when he was 17 years old. He founded the University of Oregon’s a cappella group called “On The Rocks” along with a friend. And now, Peter is himself covering various songs and recreating them into his own a cappella renditions. You’ll definitely adore this one as well.
