It was only after 2009 that Lee Dewyze gained fame throughout the country. He won the ninth season of the famous show, “American Idol.” But the surprising thing is that Dewyze only auditioned for the show because of his good friend. He got the golden ticket to Hollywood, when he sang “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers.
Simon Cowell, during the coaches’ choice week, chose Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” for Lee to sing. Lee sang this song with such incredible passion on the stage. He stunned not just the audience but the judges as well with his breathtaking performance. We have heard many renditions of this classic, but this one is quite special, isn’t it?
