When Chris and Mariesa went to a shelter one day, they encountered a dog named Storie. This dog was pregnant with 12 pups, but was refusing to give birth. Chris and Mariesa decided to bring in Storie as they thought it would be stressful for both mama and her little ones if she was to give birth in the shelter. But 18 hours after the rescue, something amazing happened.
Chris and Mariesa thought Storie would still take a day or two to go into labor, but set her up with a cozy bed for rest nonetheless. However, 18 hours later, Storie gave birth to 12 babies. Storie was probably waiting to give birth until she was in a safe place. Chris and Mariesa decided to adopt Storie, but rest of her pups were adopted and found their own new loving homes.
